Jaafar Alsalaet: Received BSc and MSc Degrees  from Department of Mechanical Engineering, College of Engineering  University of Basrah, Iraq in 1996 and 1998 respectively. Worked as a consultant to many industrial foundations in the field of vibration analysis, machinery diagnosis and dynamic balancing since 1998. Worked in the design and implementation of many measurement and control instruments including portable vibration analyzers, dynamic balancing upgrade kits, speed and temperature control and other devices. Worked as assistant lecturer in the department of mechanical engineering since 2000. Received PhD in Mechanical Engineering in 2012 for the project Design and Construction of a Multi-Channel Wireless-Based Vibration Monitoring and Analysis System. Currently works as a Assistant Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, College of Engineering, University of Basrah.
